The IAB labor market barometer stagnated in April. As in the previous month, the leading indicator of the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) stood at 99.4 points, signaling a rather pessimistic outlook for the development of the German labour market. The European labor market outlook is bucking the trend, with the European Labour Market Barometer reaching 100.1 points in April, the first time it has been in slightly positive territory in three months.
